Developed in partnership with local business organisations, both public and private, this course has been designed to help you meet the many challenges of managing in the complex, dynamic and exciting world of business.
Course overview
This course focuses on strategic thinking and the long-term effects of making decisions on the survival and growth of business. It will enable you to relate theory to contemporary business practice and explore ethical and social responsibility issues. We will help you to develop an awareness of effective management and an understanding of the many contexts in which different business operate.
Studying in the UAE with expert teachers means that you will learn to operate in a global business environment experiencing the challenges and opportunities that cultural differences present. You will explore the role of the entrepreneur, and how to nurture and develop entrepreneurial skills in yourself and others.
Upon successful completion of the course, the student will be awarded a degree in BA (Hons) Business Studies with 360 UK credits.

English language requirement: 60% or above in English subject in their grade 12th/10th OR IELTS Score 5.
Other requirements:
Second and final year entry on a bachelor's degree may be available for those with a Level 4 / 5 equivalent from the UK with a merit profile or a sufficient undergraduate credits (120 undergraduate credits at Level 4 or a CertHE in a related subject area for Level 5 (year 2) entry, and 240 undergraduate credits (at Levels 4 and 5), a DipHE, Foundation Degree or HND in a related subject area for Level 6 (year 3) entry. (Subject to approval by the RPCL Committee)
