The University of West London is conducting the Idea Marathon for students in UAE.  

The competition is divided into two categories:  

1. Business Idea pitching Competition  

2. Web Designing Competition  

WHO ALL CAN COME? 

Students from Grade 11 & 12 from all schools from all over UAE are welcome to the competition. 

A Team can consist of maximum 3 members.  

The last date to register your team is 7th January 2023.  

A team can take part in both the competitions but can only send one entry in each competition.  

HOW TO PARTICIPATE? 

The competition consists of 2 stages.  

Stage 1: All registered teams will receive the template to submit the project. Team members should download the template & fill the details and mail it to talenthunt@uwl.ac.ae 

The last date to email your entries is 7th January 2023.  

Grand Finale: 10 teams will be selected from each competition and will be invited to University of West London Campus and will have to present a PowerPoint with a detailed explanation of their project. 

WHAT TO DO?

BUSINESS IDEA PITCHING 

For the Grand Finale: Participants of business Idea pitching Competiton need to present a PowerPoint explaining their business idea in detail. 

Students are also allowed to bring any working models of their product/ idea. 

WEB DESIGNING 

For the Grand Finale: Participants of Web Designing Competition can pitch an idea for an E-Commerce platform and create a PowerPoint explaining all AI (Artificial Intelligence) features that can be integrated to make a seamless shopping experience and the security features to make a safe online shopping platform. 

Students can also create a sample website to show the features 

(Participants can use different free online platforms like Wix, Shopify, square space etc.) 

PRIZES 

The grand finale winners will be awarded AED 2500 and the runner up will be awarded AED 1500.
