Employability Lab and Placement Cell

The Employability Lab and Placement Cell at our university plays a crucial role in bridging the gap between academia and industry. We provide comprehensive support and guidance to enhance students' employability and connect them with suitable opportunities. Our initiatives include facilitating internships, organizing placement drives, arranging industrial visits, offering entrepreneurial training, conducting mock interviews, and building strong industry relationships. Through these efforts, we empower students, preparing them for successful careers and helping them thrive in the professional world.

Activities Organized by the Placement Cell:

Internship Programs: The Placement Cell facilitates opportunities for students to undertake internships with reputed      companies. These internships provide valuable practical experience and exposure to real-world work environments,      enhancing students' skills and employability.

Placement Drives: The Placement Cell organizes recruitment drives and campus placements, inviting top companies to      conduct interviews and select students for employment. These drives offer students the opportunity to showcase their      talents and secure suitable job offers.

Industrial Visits: The Placement Cell arranges visits to industries and corporate offices, allowing students to observe and      understand the operations, processes, and culture of various organizations. These visits provide valuable insights into      industry practices and help students align their career aspirations accordingly.

Entrepreneurial Training: The Placement Cell offers training programs and workshops to foster entrepreneurship skills      among students. These initiatives aim to encourage and support aspiring entrepreneurs in developing their business      ideas and launching successful ventures.

Mock Interviews: The Placement Cell conducts mock interview sessions to prepare students for job interviews. These      practice sessions help students improve their interview skills, gain confidence, and receive constructive feedback to      enhance their performance.

Employability Lab Sessions:

The Employability Lab sessions, conducted in collaboration with companies and external resource persons, offer an invaluable opportunity for students to upskill and enhance their employability. With the objective of equipping students with industry-specific skills and knowledge, these sessions focus on addressing the current demands and trends of the job market. Through interactive workshops, practical exercises, and real-world case studies, students gain hands-on experience and a deeper understanding of their chosen fields. By participating in the Employability Lab, students enhance their professional readiness, developing the expertise and competencies sought after by employers. The ultimate outcome is an increased employability quotient, as students are better equipped to navigate the competitive job market and secure rewarding career opportunities.

Here are some key activities conducted by the Employability Lab:

Expert Talk Series: The Employability Lab invites industry experts to deliver talks and workshops on relevant topics. These      sessions provide students with valuable insights into current industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies,      helping them stay updated and gain a practical understanding of their fields of interest.

CEO Talks: The Employability Lab organizes sessions where successful CEOs and industry leaders share their experiences,      challenges, and insights. These talks inspire and motivate students, while also providing them with a deeper      understanding of leadership, entrepreneurship, and the business world.

Meet Your Alumni: The Employability Lab facilitates interactions between current students and alumni who have      established successful careers in various industries. These sessions enable students to learn from the experiences of their      seniors, seek career advice, and build professional networks.

Soft Skill Development Sessions: The Employability Lab conducts workshops and training programs focused on      developing essential soft skills such as communication, teamwork, problem-solving, and leadership. These sessions aim       to enhance students' interpersonal abilities and professional competencies, which are crucial for career success.

Industry-specific Workshops: The Employability Lab offers workshops tailored to specific industries, providing students      with industry-specific knowledge and skills. These workshops may cover topics such as digital marketing, data analysis,      coding, design thinking, or project management, enabling students to acquire specialized skills relevant to their chosen      fields.
